FLC INFO SHEET

For your information, here are some details about rental of the FLC for your event.  This is not your contract--more details will be available once you decide to rent.

 

 

 I)     Available Hours:  The FLC is available for rental Monday thru Saturday  

          during “On Hours” (Hours which are already staffed)  and “Off  Hours”

           (Unstaffed hours). The facility is not available for rental on Sundays.

 A)  On Hours:  Monday- 6pm-11pm, Tue-Thurs- 9am - 6pm

              B)  Off Hours:  Monday - 9am-6pm, Friday 9am-6pm, Sat. -  all day

 

 II)    Fee Schedule  (All facilities are free for official PACC Church events,

         HOWEVER, an approved Facilities Request form is still required)

             A)  Rental costs are as follows:

                      Entire Facility:  $125 per hour         

                      Gymnasium:  $100 per hour

                                  Gymnasium rental includes use of the Lobby/Foyer, Gym, Locker

Rooms, and Weight Room

Multipurpose Room:  $50 per hour

            Includes use of the Lobby/Foyer area, Kitchen, and Conference

            Room (if desired)
B)  Extra costs:

Any off-hours usage is required to have a paid FLC staff person on hand for the entire event.  While this is included in the rental costs, we must add one hour of rental to any off-hours usage (for opening/closing, cleanup, etc)

 

  III)  Some specifications:

A)     Gym:  The gym is an official NCAA size gym with a capacity of 502--including

            bench seating for approx. 250 and player seating for up to 30

B)      Weight Room:  The David Atamian Memorial Weight Room can accommodate up to 6 people and includes 3 treadmills, a stationary bicycle, dumbbell weights, and a universal weight system.

C)     Kitchen:  The kitchen is a small area with a stove, microwave, refrigerator,  and     

       dishwasher.  Can accommodate 2-4 people.

D)     Conference Room:  A small meeting room adjacent to the kitchen with a      

           conference table and seating for up to 8.  Room also contains washing    

           machine/dryer.  Good for additional kitchen prep as well.

E)      Multipurpose (“Kuppajoe”) Room:

Logistics:  The Multipurpose Room is a 1250 sq. ft. room (25’ x 50’) with a   

     bar and stage for performance use.  The room has a capacity of 80 to 171

     depending on furnishings, which includes: 

·         Café-style seating (short and tall tables) for up to 40

·         Sofa seating for up to 15

·         Additional folding chairs for up to 15 more

·         Three 6’ folding tables (optional) -- will seat up to 24

·         A very large bar perfect for food service and more

·         An 8’ dry-erase board for teaching purposes

·         Exterior doors leading to our beautiful new patio

Audio:  The room is equipped as a fully functional nightclub-style venue.    

     The sound system includes over 7000 watts of PA power.  There is a 200+  

     sq. ft stage with a small  but fully functional stage lighting system.  Audio   

      details:

            Mains:  Two JBL full-range speakers (1-15”, 1-10”, 1.5” horn)

            Subs:  One JBL Dual 18” front-loaded sub cabinet

            Monitors:  Four mixes which include two 12” vocal monitors w/          

               horns and  two 15” instrument monitors

Lighting:  The lighting system is small but fully effective and includes 13    

      small floods and two par-54 cans in multiple colors.  The system has

      programmable and tap-tempo chases and full fade and blackout

      capability

Video:  The room is also equipped for video with a 100 sq. ft. video screen

      and brand new projector running through the built-in sound system. 

      We are currently capable of running television and VCR/DVD video--a

      perfect place for movies--and we’re working on integrating

      PowerPoint and video game capabilities into the system (Coming Soon!)

 

 

 

IV)  Legal Issues - here are a few of the issues for you to consider

A)    Waiver of Liability - All gym athletic usage requires the submission of an FLC Liability Waiver for every player.  The FLC  will provide a master copy.

B)     Insurance - Rental of the facility will require Proof of Liability Insurance. 

C)     Alcohol Tobacco, etc. - The FLC (and PACC) do not allow ANY alcohol or tobacco within the gates of the campus.

D)    Sound - Local codes prohibit loud noise past 10:00pm Sun- Thurs, ; 11:00pm Fri/Sat.

 

V)  What we will need from you we will need all of the following:

         

q           Waiver Forms – The FLC will provide Waiver Forms.  These must be signed by all players in order to play.  Players under age 18 must have a parent/guardian sign

 

q           Proof of Liability Insurance – The FLC requires a Certificate of Liability Insurance from your organization for any athletic usage -- Minimum $1 million coverage.  (Private parties can purchase a rider from their homeowner’s policy)

 

q           Signed lease – If you should decide to use the FLC for your event, please sign our Facility Lease Agreement and return to the FLC by Fax, by mail, or in person to us.  We will sign, make copies, and return a copy to you.

 

q           Deposit or Total Amount – A deposit, if required,  must be  paid at the time of contract signing.  Balance or total amount is due on the date stated on the contract.
